Ducati Museum - Virtual Tour View with Google Maps

For Ducati owners who have been pining to visit the world famous Ducati museum in Bologna, but cannot cover the cost or justify the trip, you are in luck.
The doors at Via Antonio Cavalieri Ducati have opened with Google Maps to allow you to take the tour without getting up from your computer.
The 9,150 sq ft museum in Borgo Panigale already hosts 40,000 visitors a year and with the virtual tour, Ducati hopes to attract hundreds of thousands more.
The museum currently houses over 40 motorcycles that have been “fundamentally important to the racing heritage of Ducati” and range from the 1946 Cucciolo, to the most recent Desmosedici GP and World Superbikes.
Included in the main museum tour are seven separate, individually themed rooms that showcase historic milestones with accompanying videos and mementos.
Ducati expects that 2014 will be an especially busy year for the museum as the bi-annual World Ducati Week rally rolls into Bologna this summer at the Misano World Circuit from July 18th to 20th.
The company is hoping the rally will draw additional visitors to the museum over the course of the weekend and give some the chance to visit the museum in person.  To take the virtual tour simply follow this link.  Additional information about World Ducati Week 2014 can be found here.
